What happens to your data.
HeyTizz is operated by Litvybe Ltd. You can use rooms without creating an account.
Last updated: 5 October 2026. For privacy questions or requests, email info@litvybe.com.
Information used to run your room
We process the display name you enter, a generated participant identifier, room membership, connection status, chat messages, reactions, shared video links and playback controls. Other participants can see your name, chat, reactions and the media shared in the room.
When you enable your microphone or camera, LiveKit carries your audio or video to participants in the room. Your browser asks for device permission. HeyTizz does not provide a call-recording feature. Other participants may still record what they can see or hear using their own tools.
Why we use it
We use room information to provide the watch-party service you request, including chat, calls, synchronization and reconnection. We rely on performance of our agreement with you for these functions. We use connection information and limited operational logs for our legitimate interests in protecting the service, preventing abuse and diagnosing faults.
Our hosting and calling services receive technical information such as IP addresses and connection details. Application logs include event types, timestamps, room and participant identifiers, and video provider names. If you email us, we use your email address and message to respond and handle your request.
Browser storage and embedded players
HeyTizz stores a room resume token in your browser’s session storage so a temporarily disconnected tab can reconnect. The app removes it when you explicitly leave. Session storage normally clears when the browser tab or session ends, although browser session restoration can preserve it.
The current HeyTizz app does not include its own advertising or analytics tracker. When a room loads a third-party player, that provider receives technical information about your visit and may use cookies or similar storage under its own policies. Browser microphone permission is separate from cookie consent.
Services involved
Railway hosts the website and room service. LiveKit provides audio and video calling. YouTube, Twitch and Vimeo deliver their embedded videos directly to your device. Their privacy practices and settings also apply when you use their players:
- Railway privacy policy
- LiveKit privacy policy
- Google and YouTube privacy policy
- Twitch privacy notice
- Vimeo privacy policy
These services may process information in countries outside your own. Their policies describe their locations and transfer arrangements. Contact us for information about the providers used for your session.
How long information lasts
Rooms and chat are held in temporary server memory. A room keeps up to its latest 100 chat messages. Empty rooms and inactive sessions expire under the room service’s retention setting, which defaults to six hours; restarting the service can clear them sooner. This does not mean active rooms are deleted every six hours.
Hosting and calling logs are separate from room memory and follow the retention settings of those services. Support emails are also separate. Contact us about retention or deletion of information relating to you.
Your choices and rights
You can turn off your microphone or camera, leave a room, revoke browser device permissions and clear site storage. Share room links carefully: people with a link may join unless the host has locked the room.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Some rights have exceptions, and we may need information to verify and locate your request.
Email info@litvybe.com to exercise your rights. In the UK, you can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We will update this page when the service or its data practices change and revise the date above.
